Leeanna & Andrew
East Afton Farmhouse, Isle of Wight
Champagne & ‘Something Blue’
Leeanna and Andrew opted for an autumnal wedding and chose the iconic East Afton Farm for the venue. East Afton Farm became an icon in 1970 when it hosted some of the biggest rockstars in the World for the Isle of Wight Festival. More recently it has become a sought after wedding venue on the Island.
At the beginning of October 2022 the couple, along with friends and family, travelled to the Isle of Wight to begin their next adventure together. Whilst Leanna and her family remained in the farmhouse at East Afton for their preparations, the guys moved along the road. Andrew and his groomsmen took residence of Tapnell Manor on Wedding eve.
As the ceremony drew near Andrew’s party arrived at the venue by Double Decker bus. Not to be outdone, Leeanna didn’t let the short distance to the ceremony stop her arriving in style! She arrived, driven by her bridesmaids in her Dad’s vintage truck, decorated for the occasion.
A Cheescake Tower
The rest of the afternoon then proceeded merrily. Revelers were treated to a superb wedding breakfast created by Seasoned Kitchen. Afterwards they moved again outside for the cutting of the cheesecake, or six cheesecakes to be precise! It was the first cheesecake wedding cake we had seen and was a thing of beauty created by Definitely Cheesecake.
Later The Tommy Guns wedding band played up a storm and from the first dance on, the dance floor packed. There was some seriously joyful dancing on display! The evening ended with a celebration of sparklers. Happy faces shone out all around after a truly magical day.
Thank you to Leeanna and Andrew for inviting us to capture your day. We had a wonderful time!
Amazing Vendors
Whilst enjoying champagne cocktails and ‘Something Blue’ from Adgestone Vineyard, Leanna’s party were joined by Lynsey-Marie for hair and make-up. Leeanna wore a stunning wedding dress from Chameleon Bride. The suits worn by the groom and groomsmen cam from Cavendish.
Bridesmaids wore jewellery from Katie Loxton and the wedding rings came from Sapphire Goldsmiths in Brighton. All of the stunning flowers were supplied and styled by Sim Hek. The venue was styled by Wed and Prosper. Videography was undertaken by Grace from Captured.
