Jess & Richard

The sunshine of a winter's day

Jess and Richard live on the mainland and have chosen to be married on the Isle of Wight due to their deep love of the place. Owing to their locale their opportunities to visit the Island for their pre-wedding photography before their wedding are limited. And so it was, that with the date for their pre-wedding shoot booked and immovable, the weather forecast predicted damp gloom! Not unusual for Winter in the UK and not entirely unexpected, so decided to go with the flow.

As we travelled to our location at Fort Victoria, we started to notice some unforecast breaks in the ominous clouds. Then, as we arrived, we were greeted with a glorious break in the weather that lasted the duration of our shoot! The beach and woodlands around our location glowed with low winter sunlight. Undoubtedly a wonderful omen for their forthcoming wedding day.

Just Warming Up

Pre-wedding shoots are fun little photoshoots that are included with many of our wedding photography packages. We love them because they give us all a chance to get to know each other and for you to be comfortable in front of the camera in a relaxed and informal setting before the excitement of your wedding day and all that it entails. They give the two of you, as a couple, the opportunity to create images that showcase your relationship in a way that is completely yours.
