We met Becky and Christian through The Events Co, who provided full planning services for the couple. We knew immediately they would be fantastic clients; they were warm, excited, and clearly deeply in love.
The couple chose Kingston Manor as their exclusive venue for the entire day. Both prepared in separate areas of the manor house with their respective loved ones. As the morning brought unexpected rain, the ceremony quickly moved inside the barn. Kirsty from The Events Co, providing on the day co-ordination, enacted these last-minute arrangements masterfully.
The day progressed beautifully, with the house and grounds providing a stunning backdrop. The couple used the huge wooden door to frame their confetti photos, the bridge for group portraits, and the walled garden for their celebrations. Becky and Christian are both massive music fans, even with their differing tastes! Christian especially loves album cover photography, so we took the chance to recreate a few iconic covers throughout the day.
The bride, groom, and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal. They combined casual barbecue dining with formal table service to great effect. Their party in the stone barn was a joyful occasion, with dancing lasting late into the night.
We had a wonderful time with Becky and Christian on their wedding day. We are incredibly grateful they chose us!
The Events Co offered comprehensive support beyond planning and co-ordination; they also provided essential infrastructure including lighting, toilets, and catering for the day.
Becky chose her wedding dress from The Bridal Suite, complementing it with shoes from Coast. Christian’s suit came from Osborne’s in Ryde. The couple’s beautiful wedding rings were made by Honeybourne Jewellery.
The bride and her bridal party skilfully handled their own make-up, and Bloom Hairdressing styled their hair. Bembridge Flower Shop created the elegant bouquets and floral arrangements.
Sue Edwards presided over Becky and Christian’s heartfelt ceremony. The beautiful wedding cake was personally made by Becky’s bridesmaid, Aimee. The couple’s friend, Laura, provided thank you gifts, and Paperdoll created the wedding stationery. For the evening party, Bay Entertainments supplied DJ services, Shuffles Events provided their Photo Booth, and Isle of Wight Fudge offered delicious candy floss.
